This week we have been learning about the letter Cc and Cookies! Here are some of our activities.

September 13-17

Our Week in Pictures

This week we compared berries and learned about the color red! We read a big book called,

"The Little Mouse, The Red Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear" by Don and Audry Wood.

It is one of my favorites and the kids loved it as well.

We tasted blueberries and strawberries during our taste test!

The kids tried them out and decided which one they liked best.

Next, we made a graph to record our results!

The neighbor got a new puppy. The children LOVED getting to know her by running along the fence!

Dancing to music is one of our favorite things to do.

We learned about the color red by

coloring pictures...

Singing a song from the chart...

And bringing red items for Show and Tell!

Our Week in Pictures

This week was all about the letter Bb and Berries...especially blueberries! We tasted blueberries, read books about bluberries, and practiced the Bb sound through art, writing, and hands-on activities like our letter magnet board and our sound tub full of Bb objects! "Blueberries for Sal", by Robert McCloskey was their favorite story this week!
