We had a lot of fun on the farm this week!
We learned about all the products we eat that are made from grain. We also watched as Ms. Katie milled the grain into flour!
We all got to feel the differences between the wheat berries and the flour.
We even milked a pretend cow!
We used whipping cream to make our own butter...
Shake, Shake, Shake! Everyone took a turn.
Here the butter has separated. What is left is called buttermilk.
We spread the butter onto bread.
Yadi was not sure at first...
But everyone LOVED it!
We made cotton ball sheep.
LOTS OF FUN AND LEARNING!
