Our Week in Pictures
This week our theme was "Friendly Monsters". It turned out to be quite a hit with the kids. We made a monster out of a milk jug and fed it yummy Yy objects (our letter of the week). The kids thought this was SO much fun!

Stan read "Go Away, Big Green Monster! to the kids.
Here are their faces during the story...(click on the picture to see a close-up)
We had lots of Tornado sirens this week! We all went to basement and practiced tucking our heads.
And then we read stories while we waited. We had water, food, blankets and other emergency supplies in the basement ready to go just in case.
At first I thought this was a picture of the zoo...but then I realized Ayden and Mada weren't at the zoo. This is our backyard pond. We recently had it cleaned out and now we have 2 new turtles (not yet named). The kids took turns feeding them.
Here is one of the turtles who poked his head up to eat! We love our backyard habitat!

In the Petting Farm area we rode on the wooden horse.
We fed the sheep.
We fed the fish.
We ate a snack.
We all took turns in the 2-seater stroller.
We ate a Yummy Lunch!
And finally, we stopped at the park before heading home.
What a wonderful Friday! We just wish all of our friends could have been there!
Have a great weekend!
