Apples!

This week we learned about Apples in celebration of Johnny Appleseed’s Birthday! We observed the neighbor’s apple tree and counted and compared apples in lots of fun hands-on activities!

First, we created a color graph with all of our apples. Then we took turns counting the apples in each column. Finally, the kids drew a picture of their apple on the chart.
The kids told me they wanted to eat their WHOLE apple! I had not planned on it, but I thought it was a great idea. They all took big delicious bites and ate their yummy apples as a healthy snack!

Apple Printing is so much fun!

We read the story
10 Apples Up On Top.
Then we used apple stickers to stack 10 apples on top of our own heads!
Have a wonderful Weekend!
